When to start looking for an apartment in Paris

Hi

We are moving to Paris for 6-12 months in January 2012. When is a good time to start viewing apartments? We are looking to use lodgis or parisattitude as we need a furnished place and it's important we have the internet set up immediately etc.

We plan to go to Paris at some point this autumn to view some places. When do you think we should go? Is the first week in December too late?

Not 100% sure but from my personal experience I'd say 90 days before is safest. In Paris when you end your lease you have to give 90days notice, so I'm assuming that unless the apartments you are looking at are empty, you could wait 90days to get in.
