Phnom Penh Newbie

caileelouise

Hello my fellow expats!

I've just arrived to Phnom Penh and after doing some traveling and seeing the typical touristy sites, I'm ready to really explore and get to know the city better, and I think it would be much more enjoyable with new friends!

I'm a recent American grad, here in PP working for an NGO and I'm looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends, activity partners, etc. I'm very open to new things and new experiences, that's what being an expat is all about, right?

So if anyone has any advice for my wayward self, it would be much appreciated :) looking forward to hearing it!

Cheers!
Cailee

Hey Cailee!

How's it going so far? There's a bunch of us going (fake)ice-skating next Wednesday, 12th October. If you're interested and want to meet some other expats feel free to join us. Its at Sovanna Shopping Mall at 6pm, on the top floor. We're going to grab dinner afterwards as well.

Sam :)

Hey Sam,

I might come along too if that's ok?

Oh man, Samantha, that sounds really fun! Unfortunately I've been pretty sick the past few days and I'm moving into a new apt tomorrow, so I can't make it. Thanks a million for the invite though!

Heya,

Of course you can come along Lucy! We'll be the group of foreigners upstairs at Sovanna (top floor). Will arrive around 6pm-ish.

Sorry to hear you're ill!! Good luck with the new apartment and hope you're feeling better soon. U-Care on Riverside has two really good pharmacists if you need any medication or advice. Catch you next time perhaps.

Have a good week :-)
