moving countries with a Special Education Needs child

What are your experiences in moving countries with a dyslexic child? How do  you make the transition from one school to the other? What is the minimum standard that we can expect from a SEN department? Any advice?

I have a child with what would be called low special needs who has attended school in two countries (not his native). Neither school has a special needs department. Because of this we supplement at home and have him enrolled in one of the accredited online homeschools that accept students of any nationality and from anywhere. Several of them are familiar with certain special needs (such as dyslexia) and offer one-on-one online tutoring.

If you have a few hours free each day this may be a possibility to use as needed. Best of luck!

Thanks Manawat!
Could you, please, let me know about the online homeschool you mentioned?
I should check it out for my son.
He is having extra help in reading/writing/spelling, taken out of class 3 times a week, but I don't know if that is enough...
We will see...
