Graduate Opportunities

Hi,

I'm currently in my final year at university looking to gain a first class honours degree in computer science. I've had 1 year experience with a very large IT firm in the oil and gas industry and have also carried out various projects for other companies outwith this, for example; systems integration projects and web development. If you want to know more about the skills I have feel free to ask :)

I was wondering what sort of opportunities were available in Mauritius for Scottish graduates and what sort of annual wage would you expect to earn?

A big thanks in advance for your replies!

Cheers,

Gary

Most likely code monkey at a BPO.  There are worse places to be a code monkey though.

If I were you, I would (in order of my personal preference):

Send my CV to DCDM Consulting;
Take a look at the job opportunities available at Accenture;
See if there are any opportunities at all the other usual places (PwC, Deloitte, etc);
Send CV to the BPOs at Ebene (this might help a little http://www.uom.ac.mu/pro/employment/job … nities.htm).
Consider changing tact and looking for opportunities in the financial services sector (GHF Futures).

Salary is not likely to be anything amazing, certainly a lot less than the UK.
