Dear all

I have a question that if I want to leave the job of ministry of health whats the procedure for that. Should I inform them before completing my contract of one year, or can i inform them after begining of new contract? And if i informed them before going to vaccation they ll give me certificate of one year and paid vaccations? kindly any one can guide me in this regard?
thank you

Hi Dr_Rashid,
It certainly depends upon the contract you have signed. You must have the Arabic transcript please get it translated from someone (if not done yet) or let an Arab friend help.

Usually it's like you have to let them know before 2 months (again check the clause in the contract) before expiry that you are no more intersted in renewing the contract. This is because you must give them enough time for looking out the replacement and a possible knowledge-transfer.

If you resign before the expiry of contract, they reserve the right not to allow you get the end of service benefits.

One more thing, usually Ministries don't allow transfer of sponorships. So please plan well and discuss with mates and then your HR department.

Best Wishes.
