How often do you cry?

People usually cry for different reasons: death, love, depression, loss, betrayal, etc! Typically women cry more often and this is absolutely not a negative side as crying itself is not a sign of weakness as most people might think; rather it is a treatment. The person who doesn't help erupting the sadness out of his or her head through crying (or through talking to friends) will suffer from future dire consequences like madness (not kidding!).

Do you have any thoughts?!

Absolutely agreed.

Instead of building up a volcano inside us, it's better to shed off some tears somehow and build our inside stronger. That's the foremost price of the looses we keep suffering from.

Life of course is not a bed of roses and almost all of us had moments to cry on. One thing: if you do, try to do it in solitude not in public :). People take it as a weakness; but we don't always need a shoulder.

O ,yes Crying ..
I remember doing it once ..not my thing.

Your point regarding the location is awesome. It is a relief regardless the location. Thank you!

Only once?! That is me!! Since you're a photographer, why do you guys prefer taking shots of people who appear to be sad and gloomy (tears as an example!)??

Clasijuls

Calm-guy   because being artistic I think we tend to see the ''dark'' very deep.
As you say people prefer to cry alone and not in public, but we were given tears.

There is nothing wrong with it.
It shows such deep love or pain .Nothing wrong with that .

It will break my heart if I see a man Crying in public, because men don`t do it .Why do what the masses do?

I will have the strongest feeling to make him feel better.I suppose that is the mother instinct women have.

So to answer your question about photograpghers.I know personaly I will photograph someone crying because that photo will wake feelings in you the person who looks at it .
And we all have feelings ,we always do ''the right thing''  or what is expected...so what if society expects you not to cry?

That is what photos are..a second in time that you can never get back.

If I take a photo of someone crying, and I look at it a few days later ,it will make me cry.

Why, because it reminds me that I am still alive

Calm-guy

Nice words, Clasijuls!
I agree with everything you said except the focus on sadness. I believe there should be a balance between sadness and happiness. For example, I started loving tragic and "sad" movies but afterwards I ended up hating them because typically when we focus on one thing and gives it all the focus, we will lose attraction to them. The fault is not mine but the producers who thought the only way to attract people's attention is to stir their feelings and to make them cry:(

Clasijuls

Exactly...you got what I said.Replying to what you say about sad movies making you feel a certain way, call it ''dark''..that is where artists THRIVE not a place alot of peole can live.

That is why we cut off our own ears?

Clasijuls

Well those producers got it right ..did you not use your own money to see that movie ..so they`ve won..even if it only lasted three movies.

Movie Producers-5

Calm-guy

Ummm well I said "I ended up hating them" which means I gave up watching those sad movies which means I am no longer paying them money which means:
me -5 + 5 (because the price is up)
producers -5

Clasijuls

But there is still 40,00000 suckers out there ,that has`nt read this

hahhahaah

Calm-guy

yes and I believe they're sad now and crying! (not the crying I mentioned in the original post above, in order not to contradict myself)

Clasijuls

Yes like in the dark ages..somewhere in a corner.

We haven`t learned anything ,have we.Third worlds, I don`t think so.

We are robots,,,,,,,,,

Calm-guy

I thought artists believe of only one world; only "one" no other numbers!

Clasijuls

...............''ouch''...............................

............sharp.......................

Clasijuls

Actually now that you say that ..and yes it`s true

I only know selfish artists..
including myself...

How many artsts do you know??

Calm-guy

No you aren't selfish. Regarding the question, it is a big honor for me to chat now with an artist :)

Clasijuls

Looks like I``ve met my match,,,
Just remember I don`t give up easily

WHATEVER YOU`VE GOT ..bring it on I am not affraid.
Remember if I ever say anything selfish  I`ve got the artist card to play...`cos you agree with me about how ''we'' as artists are.

I would say that crying is a response for different types of feelings, I may also see them fall in different categorizations.
Crying for feelings related to the person himself, and crying because of feelings related  to the others.
Another one would be crying for finding the truth ,and crying for pain.
Personally I think crying for finding a missing thing such as the truth of something, and crying for other people's pain is a healthy types of crying and an indication for sensitive feelings.

Clasijuls

I like Silver1  he sticks to the topic.

Clasijuls

And Calm-guy remember I`m up for a match anytime...I was just in a good mood today,So I allowed you to Look good .I mean you did Think of the Topic yourself.

Same time same place...
Or do you Wanne take it outside?

Until next time dudes.

I do that when i watch sad movie... and yes men cry... and i do not see nothing wrong with a man cry. have any one seen the Movie " My Life" for Nickola Kidman & Michael Keetin - not sure about the name spelling... if not watch that movie and then tell what happen with you. i think the movie came around 1992.

I am Human and Proud of that.

Calm-guy

@Silver1: Thanks for pointing out the different types of crying, especially crying when seeing others' pain. However, while this reflects a good sign, the one I pointed out is a must (in my opinion). Thank you!

@ Clasijuls: We both act similarly; perhaps because our names start with a C!

@ SamUSA70: Thanks for the info about the movie; I will add it to my list; not because I'm in love with sad movies but because I like what others like! Do you remember what kind of movie--romance, true story, etc??

waltaa.. Men are human, human has feeling ... :), where aliens do not have feeling I guess
I was in NY in 2001 and I saw men crying worse than women... and do not say that is different... I was in Afghanistan too and I saw men crying and also in Iraq. These are emotions. First time I cry after the death of my older brother…
Love you all.

all i can say is i cried when somebody hurts my feeling.
i use to do it when i am alone and remembering what they said to me its normal for all of us, its one way to release what inside our heart. i am a soft heartened people, i am easily cry even if i only saw a sad and inspiring movies that touches my heart, i cried in front of the TV.
also, i cried when i share a bad experience to my friends, i cant control the emotions, my tears will flow immediately.

ontrain

Crying.. I don't even remember when was the last time I did. Though crying helps a lot in coping every painful things that happens to people there are some ways to ease the pain as well. Like putting your focus into something you really love.

Mohad

I am crying now! Lovely Topic and nice posts
