Hi all

I am currently going through the interview process for a 2 year contract in Qatar. However, I want to know if there are any possibilities of obtaining a visa for my partner.  We are not married and so looking into it there is zero chance of getting a visa as a dependent.

As such are there any options for getting a long term tourist visa as my partner will not be working during our time in Qatar.

The tourist visa's seem to only be for one month renewable for a further one month. I do not want the uncertainty month to month and so if not possible for my partner to get a visa I will not go.

Thanks
Richard

Hi,

Has anybody got answer for the question?  Any chance to get a long term visa for a partner?  If the partner (female) comes with a one month tourist visa, is there any danger of problems staying in the compound together with the man?

Can you enter the compound with no problems?  Any grilling at the aiport by the immigration regarding where the lady will stay for the duration of the visit?

I would really appreciate answers...

Thanks!!

Hi all,

Richard:
Only one solution you have that bring her here with tourist visa for a month and try to find someone who can sponsor here.

Eric:
there is no problem if she will stay with you even for long time if no one of your neighbors will complain, just get her here and tell everyone that she is your wife and everything done.

hope my answer will be helpful for you guys.
