Hi,

passing a job interview in Mauritius can be a stressful moment, especially you are not familiar with the cultural and professional codes of the country.

How to successfully pass a job interview in Mauritius ?

What happens during the interview ?

What are the do's and don'ts during a job interview in Mauritius : what to say or not, what to wear, how to behave ?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience with us !

Hi,

I guess it depends of the position youre applying for. Its better if you can arrive 30 mins earlier, nicely groomed. Remove any piercing u may have and hide your tattoos if you have any( unfortunately they are are not still that much open minded to accept BODY ART. Don't give them any point to use against you.

Interviews are psycological battles. If you know your subject perfectly, you know yourself and what you are capable of, there's no reason why you should not get the job. Whatever they say to make you doubt about yourself to take this post, keep insisting that you can do it.

You need to show them your confidence without being overconfident and too much in the ego side.greet with a smile.

And don't forget that if there is a vacancy for this post, this means they NEED someone like you to fill it. Don't show them that you need this job more than they need you.

Try to find some information about the company that is hiring.

And if you don't get the job, just tell yourself that they were not good enough for you!!

Hope this helps you.

Gd luck
