Hello!

I have been in Riyadh for almost two months now and I'm tired of reading all of the time! The down time has been nice as I am working on my doctorate degree, but still!

I am looking for advice on where to meet expats. I know the typical answers are at embassy events and compounds, but I don't live on a compound and embassy events are like once a month.

I anxiously wait for suggestions and insight!

Probably asking people on here to meet up. While you exchange messages with people, it will be easy for you to figure out people who seriously want to meet!

Hello, i am thinking about moving to SA but not which city to move to..
i'll be working as a nurse so will be lucky to have housing sorted. how are finding life in Riyadh? its there or Jeddah?

WLJ, Since u r working in ksu, why not making friends with the people in ur workplace that would be a nice start.
ALLY, jeddah is good! But riyadh is better bec we are all here.

@Ally - Jeddah is better, less conservative than Riyadh.
@Wjl - U will meet good people on this blog, the guys meet every now and then for functions. Just keep chatting on the blog.
