Buying in Borovets, anything to avoid..?

Hi all, first post from me so please go easy.

I'm thinking of buying an apartment in the ski area of borovets, not to actually become an expat but to use and live in for 3 months of the year.

Couple of questions, 1) do people believe is now a good time to buy , 2) Is Borovets the best location for a ski apartment (don't want a massive busy ski village location) 3) Any major pitfalls i should avoid.

I thing Bansko is better because its more cheap and new.
