I'm coming to Saudi to live (Riyadh). Can a (fellow male) friend visit me? Is it easy to get him a visit visa? Or can it done through my company?

Hello gashead,

The closest to a tourist/visit visa that the Saudi goverment gives out is the visa associated with Hajj for the annual pilgrimage to Makkah. I do not think that the Saudi goverment gives out tourist visas.

I am assuming that your male friend is not married to you nor is he related to you by blood. So, unless he is coming to work for a Saudi company, I highly doubt he will be able to obtain a tourist/visit visa. It will be easier for you to come visit him outside of Saudi Arabia.

Ooops - sorry I misread your posting.

Either way, I think my response is still accurate. I do not think your friend will be able to obtain a tourist/visit visa. I do not even think such a category exists as one of the options for the type of visa for Saudi Arabia.

There are no visit visa's for him to apply.

His only way to enter KSA is on a business visa.

You could always meet in Bahrain...
