Hi,

can a foreigner buy property in Bosnia Herzegovine?

If so, is it complicated? What is the process of purchasing a property in Bosnia Herzegovine?

Any tips for buying property, such as a check-list of items to verify ?

Thanks in advance for participating!

Well, the land and houses are not government owned, but private property of.

In a village or a town, you would be able to buy as much land as you want. But cities, it is more, way more expensive.

it depends on which country you come from, because if your country have mutual agreement that let the bosnian as well buy property to your country, then yes, if not, then you cannot buy it on your name, unless you can have permenant residence of Bosnia, on the other hand you can open a company in Bosnia and the company can buy the property, this is the right way.
