I am a teacher in Tai Cang and only work three days a week.I have visited many cities in China and can speak some Chinese.I would really like to meet some outgoing people that like to hike or explore China during the weekends.I may occasionally have a beer, but don't really like the bar scene.I am happy to make Chinese friends that want to practice their English,so I can also develop my Chinese.I am equally happy to meet additional foreign friends.

Please contact me here or at my email address.

I have had plenty of experiences on my own and know quite a number of places.I often take local buses and do my best to try and talk Chinese with the local people. What I am looking for is other people that want to get out and see China.I could write about it or simply use my valuable time to get out and explore it.Are there some people on this forum that like the outdoors or that want to make friends.I have stayed in the Ping Jiang district,Shang Tang st,Shi Quan Jie,and Taowu st.I can easily jump on a bus in be to your city in about an hour from where I live.I can help arrange a group outing if you like?

Christine

Thank you for your reply.

You may organise an Expat.com meet up on the forum. ;)

Great!i Had no idea. You know people over 40 are not necessarily as technologically adept.

I see you come from an island nation.I recall seeing some fantastic video of Mauritius before. My dream is to someday reside on an island.I spent 16 days this year in Sanya,Hainan.Fabulous place too.Big mangoes, blue skies, and great beaches. It was like leaving China temporarily in some ways.
