Hi Smile Beijing,

I am Edward Huang from Singapore and travel regularly to Beijing and other cities of China.

I am Singaporean Chinese, I speak Chinese, English and 4 other Chinese Dialects plus other languages.

I can be your friend for language exchange, I like Beijing and would like to know about Beijing residents like you.

In fact I just came back after spending 10 days in Beijing.
To start off, you could write to me Jedwardnkh@gmail.com.  We can use SKYPE or Whatapp or wechat to communicate and I can meet you when I am in Beijing.

Hello! I am Canadian and (I think) speak decent English. I happen to be looking for someone who can teach me Mandarin and share jokes and laughs.

I just got here yesterday. I am here to conduct research into Canada-China Energy relations. I am staying near Dawanglu station. It would be great to meet up.

Best,
Victor

This is great, I shall be in Beijing in Feb-March 2014 teaching. I would be happy to join a group. I would be over sooner, but alas my job here in the UK doesn't end until Feb. So looking forward to China, will be my first visit. Although I have travelled around Europe quite a bit, the culture differences will be amazing. Anyhow lets network, and make new friends.

Ada Paredes

Hi, my name is Ada and I have been in beijing for 3 weeks now but I have lots of free time in the morning and I was wondering where if you can help me finding a part time job. I have fluent english skills.

hope to hear from you!

Manlin

The 2nd Tuesday of each month get together is designed to help people looking for a job to meet people looking for staff. That is to say the next job related get together is on Tuesday 14 Jan 2014.

To be fair though is is rare to find people looking for part-time staff.

However, send me you CV and I will see if I can help.
