Where to go out dancing and meet people

Post new topic

Hello,

I will be moving to Moscow 7 Jan. 2012.  I was hoping someone could help me find some good places to go dancing and meet people.  I love all types of dancing, so I would love to find some variety....hip-hop, techno, salsa, even belly-dancing would be fun.  :-)  Also do not know anyone as of yet, so if there is anyone else interested in getting together to go out dancing, please let me know.  I need to meet some good people.

Thanks,
Jeanette

Well, actually it is better to know what kind of thing you want to do - meet new people or entertain yourself. There are huge amount of expat parties, you can write me and i will direct you to the certain bar at the certain day) Also here you can watch films in english in Moscow, accordingly there you can find people who are not native speakers but fluent in English too. For eg you can check schedules of such films there - realmoscow.me/events/cinema

I love dancing, but I guess my priority would actually be meeting people right now.  I am not sure the best venue to do that in Moscow.  When I was in Italy going dancing was one of the best ways to meet people, so I thought I would try that in Moscow as well.  If you have other suggestions, though, please let me know.

Thanks,
Jeanette
