Hi everyone!

I am Eva, a 28 year old gal from Indonesia. I am studying at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) in Lyngby and live in Tårnby, near Copenhagen. Not really new in Denmark since I have been here for around a year but still struggling with Danish *rolls eyes* and a lot of other things. Just listed my blog under the Danmark Expat.com (http://blaahimmelen.blogspot.com) and u r very very much welcomed to check out my blog and give me some feedback!

So...that's all for now

Mange hilsner,

Eva

Welcome Eva!

What's your field of studies?

You'll find here our favourite poll: why did you move to a foreign country?

All the best,

Julien

My field of study is Environmental Engineering and hope that is a popular choice. My bachelor degree is actually Chemical Engineering and I ended up working as a journalist for an English newspaper in Jakarta for almost four years before deciding to come up here to continue my study in Environmental engineering. I guess my life is full of changes  :)

And of course...I chose DK because my boyfriend is Danish...naturally!

I wish you lot of fun in DK :) is it complicated to settle down in Denmark?

It was a bit tough with the immigration thing but for the other things such as settling down here it was not that difficult. Everybody speaks English fluently but I still think it will be a great plus to learn Danish :)

Hi Flipper78

Glad that you are adjusting well to life in Denmark.  I'm Singaporean of mixed parentage married to a Dane and we've moved from Singapore where my husband was working for 8 years to Jamaica and we've been here since Nov 2006.  I've visited my in-laws in Denmark many times for holidays and love the culture and people. However, I know I've to learn the language (my husband has been bugging me to take on-line Danish lessons)  to settle down and blend in.  Will visit DK in April and May and maybe we could catch up for lunch/coffee.  May also live there for a few months to learn the Danish language before finally settling down in a few years time.  Do email me at anthea_190@hotmail.com.  Cheers.....Anthea
