seeking a job

Hi angelvampire18!

Could you please post in English as it is the anglophone forum?

Thanks

Learning the local language is essential to get a job. If a hotel finds two suitable candidates for a job, of which one speaks the local language and the other doesn't, they'll take the one that speaks the language... I know that sounds hard, but it's the way it goes, and you would probably do the same if you were a hotel owner.

When applying for a job, try to focus on other qualities that you have, but not many others. That will give you something to compensate for a lack of knowledge of German.

Good luck!
