LYON music scene

Hello,

I came to Lyon in July and was wondering about the same thing. Lucky enough I found an awesome group to play with and we already have a busy lineup of performances. Maybe it's easier for me as a drummer out of New York and maybe solo artist are harder to sell here in Lyon. However, try Zinkif they have listings and stuff.

What instrument and what style of music do you play?

Cool, I'll check out your band right away. I'm a keyboard player and I play various stuff in between jazz-rock-funk-pop but I'm into electronica as well so I like synths and beats.

But i'd do anything as a session musician, live comping/recording for singers, jingles, theaters...hopefully getting paid a bit ahah

Do you think there's a fertile scene for that or should I try Paris? I suppose the singer/songwriter scene must be huge in France so I could start creepin' in as a supporting player
