What should I bring?

I'll be living in Phnom Phen for at least 5 months, possibly a lot more long term. I am coming from Vancouver, Canada. Just wondering what I should bring with me?

I've heard the vitamins are quite costly in Cambodia. And I assume that cosmetics and toiletries would be a nice thing to bring with me. What else? Are there any food things (spices and other smallish things) that are impossible to get? If you live in Cambodia, what do you wish you'd brought with your from home?

Thanks everyone! And Happy 2012!

Hi

Welcome to Cambodia. I just may be you may need some medicaments (for fever or diaherr) as it may be important for your first week of settlement.

Beside that, you could find more food in the supermarket.

Feel free to ask if you have question.

bye and bon voyage

If you're particular about certain things then bring those items otherwise they'll have sufficient substitutes.

When I visit I usually bring enough Tylenol, Pepto, my preferred soap, shampoo, etc.  If I needed anything I can usually get it though.
