Hi dear,
Gladly welcome to Saigon!
After you get your TESOL( 100 hrs and up)Certificate, just take a 3 months Multiple Entry Visa and you can come and work as a freelancer. Slowly you will understand the pulse of the  education field and then you can apply and obtain a suitable position. After 3 months Visa expiration, you can extend it 2 times more! So total you can stay here 9 months! After that period, you should move nearby country(Cambodia is suitable location for a visa run!),obtain a visa from there and re-enter to Vietnam. This process you can continue and work as long as you want. If you want everything legally and transparently, you should find out a school who can accommodate you long time and help to obtain a work permit.
