Udhay..
Any specific reasons for making a move to KL? Better if you try to look out for a job in UAE itself.. Tax free money man..!
Cheers..!

you were there for 3years...i saw uae from sand to skyscrapers,,
you should know even if its tax free,,,how expensive its to live in uae,, especially housing, unless of course you share a room with 10guys and then you can enjoy the taxfree facility

Probably you are talking about the time before recession. These days the property rates and concurrently the cost of living have come down as compared to 6 years back. My friends are still there and my statements are based on their experiences. One of them has moved from KL to Dubai and is finding it much more easier to save money and yet having a same lifestyle as KL.
Oh and yes hes having almost the same salary as KL and yet he is much more comfortable there..!
Cheers..!

caesar1956

why have you moved from uae to malaysia?

coooolguy_tdh

UAE-INDIA-MALAYSIA..!
And I have been invited here to be a part of MRT team. Not that I went out my way to come over here.
Rest about leaving UAE in 2009, mine was contract job.. Contract finished and the recession hit just then. So had no option other than to come back to India..!
Cheers..!

hii sir..

carlyle1979

respect to caesar who clearly is much senior than most of us and i know a couple of people who have seen gcc countries develop. my dad in law lived in qatar since 1975. i lived in dubai from start of 2008 to end of 2012. seen the high of dubai before the collapse. btw rents in dubai have started climbing again.

i think both places are opposites. greenery and desert. only thing in kl thats cheaper is accom. while accom in dubai is the biggest worry. i still prefer kl as its more realistic and less pretentious. i agree the taxes hurt though :-)

cool guy - ur really a cool guy. id love to have a beer with both of ull and swap stories :-)
