I've been TEFLing for 9 years and have lived in Ecuador, Brazil, Australia, Thailand and Spain.

Is anyone thinking of getting into TEFL and not sure what they are letting themselves in for?

Hi Bazeville,

I'm looking forward to starting to TEFL in Germany at the end of the year. I was just wondering how you got started? Are you associated with any particular language schools, and is there a particular method that you favour?

I'm in my final year as a secondary English/German teacher in Australia, but hope that some of the Second Language Acquisition theory can be reverse engineered to unpick and unpack my own language for teaching.

Is there a particular TEFL course you'd recommend?
