That is correct - apparently something along the lines of improperly stored meat.  Last week when I drove by the place was still closed.

Haha, it is a little risky to try and do anything special for V-Day. I say they are worth it so I'll probably just do dinner and have small gifts for them. I wish I could bring them to my place if it wasn't a hotel.

I just need a good idea for dinner....other than Chili's, apparently. lol

Okay, MY favorite place is a Chinese restaurant called Mirage.  It's across from Euromarche.  It's a bit pricey but just stunningly beautiful inside ... I love that place

Chinese food? I hope it's better than Golden Palace. XD Just kidding, it's not bad.

Well, last time I was there 4 of us went and we had the apps, main course, side dishes, desert and 'saudi champagne' and the cost was 575 SAR.

If you cut out all the extras, however, it can be reasonable.  It's good food but mostly you're paying for the atmosphere, I think (but the atmosphere is wonderful!).

If you want a place that's good food, nice atmosphere and very cheap prices, go to Assriyah Turkish restaurant located on Talateen St.
