Hi All,

My name is Bill and I'm new to the forum. I'm looking to relocate to Abu Dhabi with work and I was wondering what the rules were with regard to my girlfriend coming with me.
Now, she works as crew with a UK airline and would continue to do so but on her time off she would be with me hopefully in AD.
What would the visa requirements be in her case and how would we fair with respect to the "unmarried" situation?

If she's a Brit, she'll get a tourist visa on arrival.

Cohabiting in the UAE is illegal....but thousands do it. Just don't advertise the fact!

Thanks for the help on this. Forgive my ignorance but as she would be back and forth quite regular would that mean every time she arrives she gets a tourist visa?

Yes - tourist visas are just single entry. It's a simple process, just present the passport at the immigration desk and get the stamp, bingo.

welcome to UAE, well, your girl friend can always enter UAE provided she has got a british passport...she could stay with you provided its kept secret....
