@brooklinebabe : find the price chart for rentals below....as I've mentioned...clothes aren't part of the deal..

http://www.sport2000rentat/de/pricing/?d=118&o=174

Lanchester

Skiing: Skis, boots and poles - prices start from 23 Euros
Snowboarding: Board and boots - prices start from 25 Euros

Depending on your level equipment varies in price, if your a beginner get the cheaper stuff, the cheaper skis will suit a beginners needs more anyway.

Helmet can be hired here as well - 5 Euros

brooklinebabe

Ok great. For me it all depends on the clothing as won't be able to do anything without that! Let us know asap as I'll book as soon as I know about that.

Lanchester

I changed the post above with information about clothing. These you will have to buy or borrow from a friend I expect. Just remember not everyone on the trip will be skiing or snowboarding anyway. If you don´t you only have to pay 50 Euros, but warm clothes are still advisable.

Good Morning Lanchester,
Talk of the town : there are a lot more people joining the Ski event, I believe Après-Ski should be so much fun. what say ?

Guys, make sure this doesn't happen:

Gooood Morning Siri_hari!
I hope you had a good start to the weekend! Yes indeed I have to agree, there are some very good vibes building up as we near the day trip to the beautiful Austrian mountainside. I expect it to be a very enjoyable event. Of course we look forward to all of those coming including any new faces!

Hi Karthik_rai,
Thanks for sharing this link with us. Yes, loosing your pants and bearing all can be the genuine skiing experience. You know what they say; a shared experience is worth a thousand times more than one spent alone. It gives one something to tell the grandchildren in years to come. It can also be a fun personal story to liven up a party or in awkward moments when there is nothing else to say.

Hi Lanchester, good idea.. I am interested to join this event...I am excited to ski one more time here in Europe:) :) yeah last year was my first ski experience in Oberstdorf....But still I am in the very beginner level  :):)....Lanchester, some of friends are also interested in this event (probably 5 guys)..it is fine???....If so, we are planning to book the ticket on monday!!!!..See you then...

Lanchester

Hey Anand0312,
Good to hear from you and see you back on the blog☺ It has been way too long since our last night a rapping and a tapping at the Rohbau Bar!

Say Whaaat? Sure you guys can come along! The more beginners the more fun you guys will have, seeing as there are so many beginners already. Just let me know how many of you are interested in lessons and at what level you are at (days/weeks of skiing). That way it may be possible to organise lessons at a good price.

Hi Everyone,
As the day trip to Kühtai draws closer the anticipation of it all is starting to boil over running down the side of that big stew pot and into the sizzling fire!
With 150 cm and lots of fresh snowfall this is looking very good indeed.
Remember the best chance to be sure of a seat on the bus is to book yourself in by this evening (Monday 05th March). Don´t forget to note you are with Lanchester when booking and at best drop me a short note to let me know are now part of the group.

Lanchester

Hi Everyone,
I just took a head count this morning. It looks like there are 14 of us booked in so far. In case any of you out there have booked in and not dropped me a short note to inform me, please do so asp. Do you need lessons? Let me know!

At the moment we can expect 7 hours of wonderful sunshine on Saturday, so don`t forget your sunscreen and sunglasses / ski goggles ☺

Astutė

Hi everyone!

wish you all a very good and funny Saturday with lots of snow!
I was also considering taking part in this great event, but since I dont have any clothes for skiing and I really not very good in this (I meen skiing :)), so I think I should stay in Stuttgart this time :)))

Wish you all a lot of fun and have a nice weekend!!!

Asta

Lanchester

Hi Astutė
Thanks for your well wishes. We will do some skiing for you. Enjoy your weekend in Stuttgart ☺

Hi Siri_hari,
I was just wondering if I should pack a pair of shorts and a t-shirt? The weather is looking better the closer this event draws – 8 hours of sunshine! Have you got a tip for me here?

sri_hari

Morning Lanchester,
certainly the sun is shining in Stuttgart.
feels, spring is back. I wanna pullout all my brights color basics and put them on ( I started with my green today ;)). wonder what a good sunshine can do .
But sadly the weather in Kühtai is a li'l too cold for me . But I would encourage all the people who can withstand the weather, put on your best summer outfit & let your hair loose.

Lanchester

Well you have a point, Siri_hari, it might look warm, but it is still pretty cold. Perhaps it would be best for us all to leave the Hawaii pants in Stuttgart and enjoy the sun fully clothed?

sri_hari

Hi Lanchester, Thanks for organizing such a funfilled crazy event :)

GuestPoster497

That was a Perfect Day, amazing board and lodging, ski area and party!

Many Thanks to our Partnership and Communication Manager Lanchester ;-)

Lanchester

Thanks to all of you for coming along, it was a wonderful day and everyone seemed to have so much fun, I found it absolutely delightful!
Thanks for the official Kühtai t-shirt, I shall never take this off again! Well at least till the next shower is due at the end of the month. ;-)

Sri_hari, What shall I say? I don`t know where to begin? I can only try to get off the starting blocks by saying, great dance moves buddy!

Calator, Thanks for your kind and encouraging words. You know how much you mean to me, especially after such an incredible bonding session that lasted nearly 24 hours!

Thanks to Anand0312 and friends for bringing so much Indian flair and a slight taste of „Bollywood“ into the day/night.

Kylie and Rene, Thanks for the surprise turn-up, we enjoyed getting to know you. Glad you enjoyed your snowboarding and took part in the festive fun later in the day.

Praveen G

Small Bump just to say thanks for arranging the trip to Kuhltai. I was part of this trip too and had loads of fun, though I am joining this blog now.
Thanks Anand for the invite :)
Though I know I met some people here the names are bit misleading.:|

Lanchester
