Welcome Buddy to KSA. The minimum rent of a decent home at a decent location would be around 30K SAR/year.

Good Luck !!

TheLegendLeads

And it depends on various factors like areas close to your office, the affordibility limits...needless to say 'luck' also. Finding a good home isn't easy and there's not nothing much you can do about it before landing.

I got real lucky and found a 1 bedroom for 39,000 per year in a small place near king abdullah road. You just have to wait and see, try to see if your company can arrange before you arrive otherwise it will be between 1 - 12 months in a hotel....is not easy in riyadh.

In some compound @lan W?

Ian W

Yes a compound, a small one in-between king Abdullah road and Imam Saud road, google map coordinates 24.744166,46.670944. i think there is still a 2 bedroom available, i will check tomorrow.

risi

Hi Ian,

Could you let me know if there is still space available?

When can i come check this out (i am currently in Riyadh but hoping to change accommodation in about 3 wks)

Ian W

Hey guys, just spoke to the manager and the last place was taken last week, he will tell me when another becomes available

paulcastro

Hi kishpoojary and risi,

Can you inbox me all the details regarding as to what you are looking for so I can check if we have anything available for you?

I doubt you can get a place on lease without Iqama.

Al mas center is not a famous landmark. Anything else nearby?

kishpoojary

2-3 months time to get your IQAMA is way too long. It is Usually 2-3 weeks !! Check it with your employer...!!
