I was wondering if ther are programs from american tv that are broadcast locally , like the voice and america Idol and dancing with the stars

Never actually heard of the voice, but DSTV has channels which carry lots of American programmes. Go to dstv.com and look at the schedules for Ghana.
It will cost you around US$ 80 per month after you have bought the dish and decoder.
