Dear All
I have been following up on the posts and I feel encouraged at the quality of responses and the timliness of responses - the expat community in Tripoli is ROCKING.
I should be arriving in Oct with family joining me in Dec - i work in Oilfield Services.
Will it be possible to get a domestic help ( full time) who is knowledgeable about Indian food. Are there any Indians who work as maids or nannys.
In addition we would be needing a nanny to look after our 2 yr old. Our pref would be for an English speaking one.
Thanks
Vik

There's plenty of househelps and nannys available. Many are Ghanaian or Nigerian and English speakers. Never heard of Indians workings as domestics but don't rule it out.

I heard there is an Indian school in Tripoli, if it is interesting to you, I could ask the contacts

Sara1980

You can call some of the serivce offices
if you are still interested I can give you some numbers

Thanks Sandman, Sara and Palachakh.
Sara, it would be good if you could send me some numbers of the service companies.
Palachakh, we would enrol our daughter in British School or Amreican School, but it would be useful to have the contacts of the Indian school as it would provide a link to the Indian  diaspora.

Warm Regards
Vik
