Pregnancy in Cape Town

Post new topic

Christine

Hi,

could you please share advice and tips about pregnancy in Cape Town?

Who are the best gynecologists for pregnancy follow-ups?

Which hospitals or clinics would you recommend to give birth in Cape Town?

Thanks a lot in advance for your advice !

Christine

Not sure how accurate my info is, but I would figure it to be in the right ball park.

I would personally (not like I am/can get pregnant myself,) go with the top health facilities in the city and I off the top of my head, I am thinking mediclinic, Netcare, Life healthcare, UCT private.

Hope that helps.

Hello, I am planning to travel from Zambia to Cape Town to give birth. Do you have any advice for me? Has anyone else done this? I am assuming I will need to apply for a temporary residence permit and will need to rent somewhere for 3 months, since most airlines don't let you travel beyond 7 months pregnant. Any advice?
