Pregnancy in the Cayman Islands

Hmmm, Christine - becoming pregnant is probably no more expensive than anywhere else, but the follow-up can be.  Medical expenses are VERY costly here, and a visitor needs to have solid insurance cover before the -er - incident occurs. (Because it would be a pre-existing condition, for insurers.) All residents are obliged by law to have medical insurance, and their employers are obliged to see that they have it.
