May Visit to Ethiopia

expatjoseph

I plan to make another trip to Ethiopia and want to make this less tourist driven.  Can anyone in this Forum please tell me of a pleasant city to spend a few weeks to determine if I want to lease or buy property for future holidays and possible retirement.  I think Bahir Dar is pretyy and less congested than Addis.  Maybe this is a good place to start.  Should I take a hotel or rent an apartment for this visit?

Thank you for taking time to respond to this posting.

Hi,
Bahir dar, Awassa, Dire dawa are good cities next to Addis. My favorite is Awassa because: close to the capital, diverse population, beautiful lake, and more.
Hope this helps
