Camel Races

as I know it is taken place once a year.

No camel race these days.

About the place I will try to find it then I will come back.

Really? i was told they are held every Thursday at 4pm and once a year they had the big "Grand National" type race.

Anything you can find would be really appreciated.

Me too but i think we missed it, it was in February

the Camel race is taken place EVERY Thrsday at 4:00 in Riyadh.
It is in Thummamah.
According to Sauditourism.com it is Altakhasosi street to Athummamah area.
It means go straight [on Altakhasosi street] towards Althummamah.

the place name is [ Maydan Sepag Alhejn ] =this is its name in arabic.
it will help you to ask anyone you face .

Well, some colleagues and I are going to try and see if the camel races are going on tomorrow.

Did you go/find it?  How was it?

I never had any luck finding it, i think the info on the tourist website is outdated.

There are no camel Races during the Summer months in Riyadh. The camel races are still goin on in Taif.

There are 2 locations. 1 is the horse trak on Thumama Rd. The other is 1 mile past kingdom hospital towards themamuh, just off of Themamah road.
