hi. i just want to ask how did you do it?? i mean how come it only takes 30 days for annulment process.. how much it cost???is it applicable if you dont have enough money to get annulled??
please help..
I'm currently living in the netherlands for 4 years now.. I'm married to a dutch national and we got married here. but in the process of getting divorce.. I'm trying to get my citizenship but my contact person from the city hall said it might have complications due to the divorce.. then in worse case scenario..I have to go back in the philippines and I would still be married..
Since my marriage is solemnized,I wanna know how long and how much it would cost to have my marriage annulled? Anyone who have had the same experience?
I have a friends who who got annulled but they were married in the pilippines.. and they had a lot of complications.. one of them took about a 2 years.. they told me that it shouldn't take me that long and it shouldn't be as expensive since i wasn't married in the philippines.. and we don't have any complication with the divorce process..
are you married i philippines ?

If you are married outside of the Philippines, it is only recognized by the Philippines. As for Annulment/Nullification processes, the Philippines Government wouldn't have or would want anything to do with it for it's not an NSO Certificate marriage. However you will still need to have the Divorce recognized by the Philippines courts since you were legally married somewhere.
And yah my nullification is still ongoing. 2 years and a few months. I've almost given up hope in a way.

Hello...I'm an OFW but I'm currently in Philippines specifically in General Santos City.My husband and I had been separated for 4 years now and he's living with his mistress for more than two years. There had been other women before that. He's currently cohabiting with his mistress and before I left to work abroad the woman is already pregnant but had a miscarriage later. The woman had conceived again and this time the baby was born last March or April 2013. He never provided any financial support ever since we separated and even before that. I have been a sole provider for my 3 kids for years now. I left them in my parents' care when I left to work abroad. Now I'm back in the city for the sole purpose of ending the marriage once and for all. I would be thankful if you can refer me to a lawyer that would charge reasonable enough and that the case won't take very long. I need to leave again whenever possible since it's my only means of supporting my kids. Thank you and more power.
I was filed my annulment case in 2011 until now wala pang balita kasi sabi ng lawyer ko yung judge na humawak sa kaso ko na-suspende daw dahil pinaghinalaang may anomalya kaya yung case ko inihain nya sa ibang korte at yung bagong judge na humawak sa kaso ko ay binusisi lahat. Natapos yung hearing ko last week and now my case is waiting for decision at siguro ilabas ang disiyun b4 end of this yr.

ashley05 wrote:i need some good advise regarding annulment and best lawyer that will cost me less..i was secretly married in manila city hall way back 2007 before my flight going abroad for him to secure our relationship,2 months later we fought and got some misunderstanding..we lost our communication till i get in touch with him after 2 years (2009) i went back to my country but he was not there he got contract to other country also. he's mad at me, he doesnt want to talk to me anymore. he even told me that i can marry and he will not oppose coz he can live without wife. year 2009 i went back abroad coz i dont know what will i do in my situation coz i am secretly married no one knows on my side (family). year 2010 i found out he married his ex girlfriend while our marriage still valid im just communicating to his family who are not agreed to their relation. i was planning to go for vacation and this is the time i can face him personally coz he is now staying with that girl. they are staying happily together while im suffering for my situation coz i cant even settle my new relationship coz of my first marriage. what is the best revenge for both of them? i know i can file bigamy for both of them. i want him to pay how much will the cost for annulment..
So, after neglecting him for 2 years...and he thought both of you moved on, after 3 years...you just feel like getting revenge...duh? please, just let him live his life...happily. Im pretty sure you have enjoyed, too...in the 2 years that you did not have any contact with him.
Hi,
I lived here in Dubai since 2008. In 2011 I took my BF in Dubai under visit visa and got married in 2012 here in Phil. consulate in Dubai. After almost 7mos of marriage my husband had an affair with one of our housemates. I left our house as I could not take such act happening in the house. my X husband and his mistress is living together on the same house (unmarried). I wanted to know how I can file a case of annulment, police complaint or atleast how I can file a complaint to Iglesia ni Kristo as the mistress is an INK. I have all their pictures and evidences. Please advise how the legal procedure would be. Thank you.
Hi can you pls tell me who is your lawyer? Thanks . . . because i have one filed also?

My bf has been no contact with his wife 5 yrs back they both working abroad ad ofw im dubai and saudi arabia, the wife dint give any support for the education for their 3 childrens eversince so their father gave all the full support to their childrens.. My bf is planning to file a separation of marriage so he can be free to marry.. Is there any chances for him to be free from his wife? What is the best thing we can do to get married? We cannot afford to pay for annulment fee to go on legal separation? Pls need advice to go through. Thanks
if u 2 want to get married, there is no other way but to file for a declaration of nullity of marriage (or annulment although they are 2 diff things). Legal separation wouldn't allow your bf to get married again as it doesn't nullify the old marriage, meaning legally, he is still married.
they have a good chance of getting annulment, although it will be a long and expensive journey. Plus the fact that he needs to go back home at least a couple of times for the investigation, pre-trial and trial proper.
goodluck

It depends on a lot of things but normally it takes at least 2 years....your agreement in the brgy level will not do u any good if ur going to file an annulment...cause it would mean collusion which would lead to the dismissal of the petition...
Hello,
Is it possible for a Filipina to divorce in another country and have the divorce legalized in the Philipines ?
Or is annulment the only way ?
