myself and my chinese wife are considering a move to china in the near future and although i have no teaching qualifications, what would be my chances of gaining employment in this field or any other field .

Chinaren

Pretty good is the answer, depending on your experience and what you want to teach.  If you're okay with teaching ESL, then jobs are very easy to get.

However, I'd get a job before moving here, or you will probably have issues with the visa.  You need a Z class, or resident visa and a Foreign Expert certificate to work (legally) in China, and they aren't easy to get if you're in country with a visitors visa.

You'll need a degree, or at least a degree certificate ;)

You may wish to learn to use Capital letters at the beginning of sentences etc first tho. ;)
