Hi there,

I will be travelling around Europe in June, I would like to explore some village, small towns in Switzerland, if places having cottage industries or Small or Medium scale industries, It will be great. I'm more interested in meeting people making 'home made' chocolates.

Please some one advice me, that will be a great help.

I would travel in Eroline train. I'm planning to spend between 5 to 7 days in Switzerland, or even more.

Thanks in advance

Hi Madds,

The laws for the food industrie are very specific. For this reason it will be difficult to find a person who produce chocolate at home.

but you can find some place here for chocolate and ... cheese :Dhttp://www.la-gruyere.ch/en/navpage_lis … eseChocFR&

and here a beautiful place to relax :

I live in a place called Heiligkeuz, the village and valley is called Entlebuch- very typically Swiss. We make our own Sheep Cheese, Schnapps, pasta factory, farmer's ice cream and beer. You can't get much more swiss than this. We also are part of the the Unesco Biosphere. A great place to stay is this 450 year old renovated hotel
ps you can rent elektro bikes at the local bakers and tour the towns in style!

Hi oiseaubleu and barbwhite,

Thank you for the great information, this time I had a good trip, but went unplanned, despite my attempt to plan. I'll use your information for the next time.
