How to approach people

Hi everybody

I was thinking about this topic for quite some time now, and the best practices i found is to:

- show genuine interest in what they say or do. sharing the work or the ideas gets you close to people.
- be yourself, speak your beliefes, accept others differences and never let them hinder you from reaching out to them.
- whenever you find someone good enough to be your friend, never let go. always keep in mind that you are TWO persons, not one. the other party has own ideas, beliefes and approaches. let it be, dont try to copy-paste your ideas into them to find a copy of yourself.

very well said :)

respecting and honouring our similarities and differences goes a long way.

friendship is a gift and extending kindness is a way of giving thanks.

cheers,

Fred

I just give a big smile and go from there.
Seems to work.

yes, extending kindnessis a beautiful way of giving thanks, to the world, to God, to others.
Friendship when true one is a huge gift, that we often underestimate and sometimes abuse until it is gone, then we start realizing how much we lost.

I love your words :-)))))

Mas Fred

a smile works miracles. it is the shortest way between 2 persons. actually, i love it :-)

when i look at a stranger i wonder what their life is about; what hurt they're carrying; what disappointment they've suffered; what loss they've felt...each and every one of us bleeds. it's that simple. a smile can capture a moment of understanding and lighten a burden. :)

I wonder if they're a friend I haven't met yet.

Really being Compassinate and a good listener is key in approaching people for the first time.Sharing a meal  form bonds of friendship and no matter what culture food always plays an important role.
