Thinking of Moving to Antwerp

Jemmy12

I'm already in belgium but my work circumstances have changed, I knew I was going to be relocating in the bear future but it was going to be to Brussels, Now Antwerp looks like the nest stop for me.

Has anyone got advice on Apartments and good/bad neighbourhoods in Antwerpen?
I'd want to be within reasonable distance of the Train station and Grote Markt area (15/20 minute cycle from the station would be ideal)
What sort of money do apartments go for?
(1/2 bed, 70 to 100 SqM )
Anything else I should look out for ?
Thanks in advance Expats

Hi Jemmy12!

Have you checked the Antwerp housing section?
It might be of some help ;)
You could also post an advert there for your query.

Good luck

Thanks for that,
I had a look there and the only one available is over my budget @ €1200 per month.
I'll scour the classified sites but in the meantime I am hoping to get some advice on neighbourhoods/what to look out for or any possible pitfalls.

You should easily fins apartments €10 per m2, so for less than €1000 for 100m2.
