What's a guy gotta do to have some fun!

When I moved here 3 years ago, my only inspiration was the cheap beer. Now even that is gone. I'm left with no reason than my job to continue living here. (loser much?)

I tried going out with colleagues and their friends, but after a certain point they all start speaking Kannada and I feel like a moron.

Well I'm not saying this city is unfriendly to outsiders, just that I was unfortunate enough to find such people! I'm sure there are some cool people here (this site came highly recommended, though I haven't been active much) whom I would love to meet. And hopefully we can meet for drinks and speak only in English or at least Hindi :)

Before the admin comes in - I am 25, a manager at work, alcohol connoisseur, bla bla.

I love your comment "Before the admin comes in" ... Don't you want that Harmonie ask you more a small introduction of yourself ? :D:D:D

I'll be glad to meet you and share a beer or two ^^

John.

How lucky you are to be in Bangalore. I am a Bangalorean, now expat, living in Europe, once in a while homesick. Bengaluru is a great city with infinite opportunities but you have to adapt yourself a bit. As you already can Hindi you can learn Kannada easily. Though not a Kannadiga, I would recommend to learn this beautiful language. In this metropolitan city you will find all kinds of people and 1001 chances. Enjoy.:)
