Hi,

how does the healthcare system work in Denmark ? Is it efficient ?

What are the main differences between public and private sectors?

Is it recommended to purchase private health insurance in Denmark?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience !

Its all inclusive, except glasses and dental. I've always purchased supplemental insurance for dental, but nothing more. Great system -- I just present the yellow card and I'm set.

Register address. Get CPR number. Choose doctor and that's it. If you have a chronic illness you can apply for exemption so you pay a max of approx 3200 a year on meds. Can be paid monthly.
Also your " media license" can be paid monthly.
You will also need to get a NEMID. All mail to you will be digital, including that from doctor and your obligatorisk Nem bank account.
You can of course demand that they send you real letters. Fill form in, sign.Done.  As we say. Slut prutski. Welcome to Denmark.
