Appointments for Viewing apartment

cbridger

Hi guys!

Just a quick question! I'm trying to find a one room apartment to rent and have seen a few on the internet with dates/time that viewings are happening.

Would I have to make an appointment with the estate agents or would I just be able to turn up on the certain date?

The appointments are at specific times because there are already people renting the apartment so I don't want to turn up to someones house if I'm meant to be with an estate agent.

Thanks in advance for any help!
Charmaine

Appointments to show a flat to strangers while the previous tenant is still living there have to be announced in advance and are limited in number.
Of course it is better to contact the agent or landlord beforehand. You should also make as good an impression as possible, as there are too many seeking tenants and too few apartments in most German cities, thus the landlord can pick whomever he likes most!
