Hello friends!

I want to move from Norway and to another country in EU. But where in EU can I live for about € 1500,- food, rent etc. included?

I am 40 years old and need a one bedroom apartment and a good life. You can survive in Norway for € 1500,- too, but thats not a good life ;)

Well. I think it is hard to have a good life with that sum of money
Why don't you try other developing countries.

In London, it's clearly difficult to live with only 1550 €...
Don't you think you can expect more for a job?

Scandinavian countres are among the most expensive in the EU. You don't say if you are living in Oslo, Beegen or another city where costs can be high compared to other Euopean cities. London, Paris and certain others are expensive but there are so many cities in Europe that do not cost as much to live. It may mean having a studio or small one bedroom flat, but managing other costs of living are much the same no matter where on lives....look for better prices always when shopping, do the research. Some flats include certain utilities...it depends.
You don't detail what your €1500 shoud include, so maybe some people are factoring in/out items not mentioned. I've been doing intensive research on the cost of flats in various parts of the EU; it seems ideal to find one that might include some utilities. I've seen amazing prices all acrss the EU. It may help to find better properties through a rental agent.
Living without a car also keeps things affordable. Try to seek out countries that appeal to you, see what type of work you might do, if you need to purchase private health insurance or will the National system suffice. Depending upon how your lifestyle is, it may cost a bit more in certain places. But again, it depends upon what expenses you pln to cover with the €1500.....it might work for the rent, food, utilities, transportation......tough to estimate without more details.

Good luck! I'll be searching soon too, in Italy I think but considering all options.

With 1500 Euro you can live quite good in Romania (by Romanian standards) but it is quite a step down from the quality of life in Norway :)  Nice things and places come with a price :)
