I have a job opportunity in Lausanne and would like to know if it's better to live in Switzerland or in France.

Lausanne!
Great city.
France is 100 km away (or 20 minute ferry ride but you might not want to do that unless you work very close to the harbor).

Busco trabajo en Lausanne (Suiza), tengo 42 años, amplia experiencia en Carpintería Metálica, Soldadura, Montaje, etc... relacionado con la metalúrgica. Tambien he trabajado como Administrativo en un Puerto Deportivo de Alicante. Tengo estudios medios, curso de informática, curso de seguridad e higiene en el trabajo, así como cursos de hierro y soldadura. Hablo un poco francés y es por ello que busco trabajo y alojamiento en la zona de lausanne. Gracias de antemano. Un saludo a todos los españoles y suizos que lean este anuncio.
