mince and tatties

I miss liver cooked with hot pepper...yum. On the other side I love Korean food too. So I'm enjoying my meals here.

I had "hotdogs a la my wife" for tea last night.
My wife, being Indonesian, did a sausage sandwich because she'd no idea I was just going to wrap bread around the sausage and smother them in tomato sauce before stuffing down my cake hole.

However, being the amazingly inventive person she is, the old girl added fried onions, spicy mayo and a load of other stuff including lashings of tommy.

I don't think there are enough superlatives in the English language to describe them.

When Im in South Africa I miss Lakrids, as only the Danish make them.
When Im in Denmark I miss Biltong, as only the South Africans make them.

Dutch veggies,the variaty in dairy, cheese and bread, sweets and special in time of Sinterklaas (no, not Santa Claus, he is an nephew!), fresh and cheap fish, musterdsoup, goulashsoup, some spices and herbes.

But thanks to internet and my capability I can make a hope things by myself, even when I don't have the right stuff.
