Moving to RAK

I ll be soon arriving to rak for permenant work assignment so I have some questions,

1st : I found that al hamra is one of the best places to live in but is it far from RAK as my work will be in Khor khuwair and my kids might be in choueifat school, so please advice if it is long distance and how long it will take from al hamra to work and kids schools

2nd : how much is the average cost for new furniture ex: bed rooms, living rooms, kids rooms, dinning rooms, electronics

3rd : what are the salary for permanent maids
