We wish to buy a house in KL, & want to know govt regulations, bank loans, & other matters regarding purchasing a condo/flat in KL.
Pl suggest.

Hi as a foreigner you cannot purchase property less than 500k. You used to need permission to buy from the local state as well that took 3 months. That may or may not still be true. You really need to consult a good lawyer and becareful when paying a deposit usually of 3% is fraught with dangers without proper legal advice.

As an expat LTV is usually low like 60% so you need at least 200k in cash for the deposit of 40% of 500k
