Foreigners getting married in Saudi

Post new topic

Hi
I am from USA and I would like to get married in Saudi Arabia with a girl from India.  The girl is in India.  If we were both to go to Saudi Arabia on a visit, are we allowed to get married there?  If so what is the process if anyone knows.  Your help is appreciated!
Thanks

Maybe you should ask your question in the Saudi Arabia Forum, first things first:

1) are you Muslim?

2) is she Muslim?

3) can she enter saudi arabia i.e. does she have a job there? You can only enter saudi that way.

Yes, there were times when people used to visit the Haram and do Nikah irrespective of their iqama status. Very recently (a month or so), policies have been made much more stringent. They serve Iqama holders (both) only now.
