Expat blog gatherings in Guatemala

Hi all!

What about meeting the other Guatemala Expat.com members in real life? Organizing an Expat.com meet up would be an excellent way to know them! :)

An Expat.com meet up can be a diner gathering, having coffee, a bring and share in a nice place, a cultural or sports activity, etc. There are plenty of possibilities: just imagine a pleasant way to meet new people and old friends from Expat.com.

Feel free to organize Expat.com get-togethers in Guatemala: you would meet the other members in a friendly atmosphere and have a good time together!

Of course, we could offer some help to organize your meet up and to inform the community.

So, who’s in? Do not hesitate to start a new thread to suggest an Expat.com gathering in Guatemala. ;)

Best,

Julien

Sounds like fun. Guatemala is a big country though, so I vote for Antigua. Its Guatemala's Disneyland, so how perfect for an outing?
I can suggest a couple of modestly priced restaurants. La Pena del Sol Latino is one, Weiners is another. Somewhere safe and in daylight.

We have had a expat gathering every Thursday morning at 08:30 in the Cafe Condessa for the past 10 years. Usually 15 to 25 people come to share experiences and information. Everyone is welcome and we are not selling anything.

Looks like this is already organized -- I'll be looking forward to meeting up when I arrive, which is asap! :)
