Nope, however my mum said scars (after laser treatment) would look better than my tattoos now...words taken, i went for another tattoo on my wrist, got "lovely mother" tattooed..now mum doesnt mention the word "removal" anymore...:p

JasfurJQ

i have seen people having his whole body covered with tatoos, but that depends on your body if your body can accept pains well go for it. If not be content on what you have now.....

kiwiinkorea

Never heard of this myth, however I have one and have always wanted another. Is it true for other keepers of tattoos? When you got your first, were you keen on getting another or more?

JasfurJQ

my roomates do tatooing, i've seen him how it's done and while looking its seems a little bit scary. I rather put stickers than permanent one.

annie_t

I have one and i'm wanting to have the second. I want to keep it 2 only (no more tattoos then) and i've never heard about that thing before, it does not apply on my country.

You hardly know about it.
A mate did mine as a 'thank you' for a couple of things I'd helped him with.
He stopped after the first outline and asked if I was feeling faint or it was too painful.
I simply didn't understand what he was on about as there was hardly more than a tickle.

Turns out some people can't take it at all, some to the point of passing out.

Wimps, and I thought the Scots were tough :D

James

The only problem with tatoos is that we all get older and our skin and other body parts start to sag! I once knew a woman who had her boyfriend's name PHIL tatooed on her breast when she got older she started 'sagging', had to go back and get the tatoo change to PHILADELPHIA. I don't know, maybe if she gets much older she'll have to get it changed again to PHILADELPHIA CREAM CHEESE!!!

I agree.

One of my 9 tattoos has lost a little of the fine detail as I get older and my skin loses it's elasticity.

HaileyinHongKong

I want to get a tattoo of my eyes on my eyelids so when I fall asleep people will think I'm awake.

Hailey,

Toothpicks are cheaper, don't hurt as much and much easier to get rid of later. Love all your posts BTW!

may I ask guys, do you think tattooing your body is healthy? as you mention earlier when you get old ofcourse skin become saggy and tattoo become ugly. I've seen the Guinness Book of World Record a lady and a man fully tatooed their body from head to feet, they say its an art. is it? :)

stumpy

It is healthy if done at a reputable tattooist premises.

Tattoos as such are not a health problem. I have had my first two for 48 years now. The last 2 were done 15 years ago.

Are you telling me to put toothpicks in my eyes?  That's a bit too animated for me.
