What's Arekere like? Any other recommendations in same area?

Hello everyone,
I'm going to be living in Bangalore from Sept-Dec (along with my wife and our 6 month old baby), I'll be studying at IIM and we'd like to find accommodation near the school. After doing some research on my own, Arekere sounds like an ideal spot for us.

Could anyone tell me their thoughts on this area? I've done some basic Googling and have come across lots of rental listings, but what is the recommended way for expats to secure short-term furnished housing rental? Is there a specific agency you might recommend? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to a wonderful experience in Bangalore!

finding a rent house near arekere wont b a prob. n there's lotsa malls- royal minakshi, reliance etc.well connected. buses are available all the time. If ur looking for nice apartments then find in kammanahalli which is nearby. lotsa apartments for rent n nt that expensive too
