Living in Europe

Post new topic

JCKS

Hi

I currently live in the U.S., but am seriously considering moving to Europe. I want a country with a laid back and friendly feel that isn't extremely costly.   I also want a place where I could find a job in an engineering field. I can speak a little spanish, but no catalan so any country with a a language too different from spanish or english would be a problem. Oh, I'm a runner also, so any place with a trail system or lots of open country would be great.

Right now I'm looking at England, Ireland, Spain, and Italy

What would you suggest?

thanks for your help

P.S. weather isn't important to me.

Welcome to the site.

I live in Holland and it has the laid back atmosphere and language is not a problem since most people speak English.
